December Highlights at First Pres of Homewood

The holy season is among us and here at First Presbyterian Church of Homewood, we invite you to worship with us as follows:
  • Sunday Worship at 10:30 a.m.
  • Christmas Cantata / Soup Lunch & Caroling: Sunday, December 16th -- During worship (10:30 a.m.), the Chancel Choir will present a Christmas Cantata entitled Sing Joy to All the World! by Lloyd Larson.  Also join us after worship for a soup lunch followed by "caroling by phone" to spread some Christmas cheer.
  • Still Night Service: Monday, December 17th at 6:30 p.m. -- This year, the service is on a Monday evening so as to welcome our "Community Dinner Guests".  There will be an extended prelude at 6:30 p.m. as a way for those who stay to transition from dinner to worship.
  • Christmas Eve Service: Monday, December 24th at 7:00 p.m. -- After the 5:30 p.m. Community Soup Dinner, our regular Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary, with an extended prelude at 6:30 p.m. for dinner guests to transition from dinner to worship.
